Service to Belize City from Minneapolis ends in April. The flight spans over 1400 miles and takes 4 to 5 hours from gate to gate.
Canada
Montreal
Montreal is a lively city in Canada where people speak both French and English. The city is famous for its delicious food, like poutine, and its beautiful old buildings. In winter, you can have fun in the snow and go ice skating.
Sun Country offers customers a seasonal flight to Montreal-Trudeau International Airport from Minneapolis. This flight is flown two times per week during the active season with flight days being Mondays and Fridays. The active season for this particular route is during the summer months of June through August.
The flight is relatively short as the distance between both these cities is a little bit more than 900 miles. Flight times are about 2 to 3 hours depending on the wind situation.
Toronto

Vancouver

Vancouver is a Canadian destination served more frequently by Sun Country Airlines than both Montreal and Toronto. It is still a seasonal route being offered during the summer months between June and August. Flights depart from Minneapolis International Airport and terminate at Vancouver International Airport.
The flight is offered by Sun Country four times a week during the active season. Flights are flown on Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday weekly.

This particular flight is seasonal and offered between December and April. While most destinations that Sun Country flies to are flown at least once a week, Liberia has scheduled twice-a-week flights on weekends with holiday weeks with extended coverage.
This flight takes 5 to 6 hours to complete its 2400-mile distance.
Dominican Republic
Punta Cana
Punta Cana is a popular vacation spot in the Dominican Republic known for its stunning beaches and luxurious resorts. Visitors can enjoy water activities like snorkeling and sailing.
Punta Cana is the first destination on our list and Sun Country has a second departure airport from here in the United States. This flight is offered from Minneapolis St.Paul International Airport and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in Dallas. They both terminate at Punta Cana International Airport in Punta Cana.
However, both of these flights are seasonal but offered at different times of the year. The Minnesota route is only in service during the winter months until April. The flight from Dallas is offered between May and August.
Honduras
Roatán
Roatán is a tropical island in Honduras surrounded by the Caribbean Sea. It’s a great place for diving and snorkeling to see the vibrant coral reefs and marine life.
Sun Country Airlines flies to Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport in Roatán. This flight is a seasonal flight offered once per week on Fridays until April. The only location in the United States offering this flight is Sun Country’s hub at Minneapolis International Airport.
The route in its entirety is just a hair over 2000 miles, taking nearly 5 hours to complete.
Jamaica
Montego Bay

Jamaica’s Montego Bay is served by Sangster International Airport. Sun Country Airlines provides a two-day-a-week seasonal route from Minneapolis to this destination. Flights are typically on Saturday or Sunday. The route is active until April.

Mexico
Cancun

Sun Country travelers are lucky that the offerings to Cancún International Airport in Cancun are quite numerous. Sun Country offers five locations in the United States that offer direct flights to Cancun. Passengers can catch a flight from Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Dallas Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Harlingen.
The locations in the Southern part of the United States (Dallas, San Antonio, and Harlingen) are offered this flight option during the warmest months between May and August. From Milwaukee, this flight is offered during the winter months until April. This particular route from Minneapolis is barred from being offered this past September.
Cozumel
Cozumel is a charming island in Mexico known for its coral reefs and underwater adventures. Snorkeling and scuba diving are popular activities, and visitors can also explore Mayan ruins on the island.

Puerto Vallarta

Sun Country flies to Puerto Vallarta’s Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport from Minneapolis and Dallas Fort Worth. The flight between Dallas and Puerto Vallarta is offered during the summer months of May to July. Passengers fleeing the Minnesota cold have this flight option during the winter months until April.
St. Maarten
Phillipsburg
