BermudAir customers now have more flights between the United States and Bermuda. BermudAir provides direct flights to Bermuda to the United States and Canada. They just announced new service to Bermuda from Hartford, Charleston and Raleigh-Durham.
These new flights are slated to launch in April 2025. They are currently being sold at an introductory price of $249. The flights including Hartford and Raleigh-Durham will be flown twice per week. The Bermuda-Charleston route will be offered on Saturdays only.
The new routes will use Bremuda’s L.F Wade International Airport, Hartford’s Bradley International Airport, Charleston International Airport, and Raleigh Durham International Airport.
A BremudAir spokesperson commented “With the only direct flight options to these key North American cities, Bermudians are now just a short flight away from vibrant new cultures, incredible destinations, and endless opportunities for business and leisure. The new services also open the door for more inbound visitors to Bermuda, making the island more accessible than ever.”

Positive Steps in The Right Direction for The Airline
These new destinations the airline is trying to find the right niche for itself. It hasn’t cut any routes, which is a good sign. Their current mix of departure cities are generating enough demand to keep the airline’s execs happy.
With Hartford in the mix, you can expect the airline’s primary demand from Boston or New York to diminish. People from Connecticut can fly from Hartford. Previously, they either had to drive to New York or Boston.
BermudAir also expanded its Middle Atlantic portfolio. As it stands there is a gap between BremudAir’s Florida destinations and Baltimore. The inclusion of Raleigh and Charleston in the Carolinas will fill in that gap.

With Bermuda being so close to the United States, it is surprising few U.S airlines fly direct there. BermudAir is establishing itself in this market gap.
