Allegiant Air Used To Fly The Boeing 757 (Video)

Allegiant Air flew Boeing 757s between Hawaii and the continental U.S until the airline removed the aircraft type from service in 2017.

Between 2012 and 2017, Allegiant Air operated a fleet of six Boeing 757 aircraft.

The Boeing 757s were used for Allegiant’s Hawaii service which directly connected underserved cities in the continental U.S to the Aloha State.

However, due to lack of customer demand and high D check maintenance costs for the seven fifty seven, Allegiant began rolling back several of the routes offered to Hawaii and assigning the seven fifty sevens on Allegiant’s domestic routes before completely removing the aircraft type from service in 2017.

With Allegiant Air soon to be acquiring Boeing 737 Max aircraft, do you think Allegiant Air makes a return to Hawaii?
